About joining FabricatedWorld
While this group is still on hiatus, we are still accepting members. If you are interested in joining, please read our character creation guidelines
before sending a join request. We have been getting quite a few blank requests and it is becoming very frustrating for the admins. We do not enjoy seeing these messages in our inbox, nor do we enjoy denying membership to people who are interested in joining. However, our journals are there for a reason. We expect users to read at least the character creation journal
before sending a join request. Those who do not follow the guidelines are wasting time for both themselves and the admins for this group. It's a bit disappointing that the admins need to keep giving users directions on how to join when the guidelines are already written out. Please take the time to read the guidelines thoroughly to make things easier for both you and the admins.
This is a reoccurring problem that could easily be fixed by just simply digging around our page.
It has come to our attention that some people are actually stealing and/or tracing art
for their applications. Because deviantART is a site for artists, plagiarism is not tolerable. In the case that users cannot draw their own characters, this does not mean that it is okay to trace art or use artworks that are not theirs. Bases are also a problem. While they are somewhat acceptable to use for those with limited artistic abilities we highly reccommend either drawing your own character or asking a friend/another user to do it for you.
If any user is caught doing this, consequences will be dealt.
First offense: A warning, and even a second chance.
Second offense: If it comes to it, we will have to remove you from our group and not allow you to join in the future.
Please do not claim works that do not belong to you. This applies not only to this group, but to the rest of the Internet and your daily lives as well.
TL;DR: Read our journals, don't plagiarize.
It's that simple.
Also, here's our character creation guidelines
if you read this whole thing and still somehow missed it. It's on our front page, as well.im sorry if this comes off as rude, but im seriously sick of seeing these things in my inbox especially and i know the other mods are getting tired of it too
